Hummingbird Pendant

Sterling silver and keishi pearls. 16" plus 3" extender. Pendant approx. 2" wide by 2" high.

This sweet hummingbird hovers while drinking from a petunia. Beating its wings between 10 to 15 times per second, the hummingbird inspires a child-like wonder in us all. I chose Keishi (non-nucleated) pearls to represent the fluttering of its wings as it sips the nectar.
